Descend down to the crater one of the largest intact volcanic calderas in the world, the crater floor offers game viewing to a homely permanent population of more than 30,000 animals, and is one of the only places in Africa where you stand a very good chance of seeing the big five (lion, leopard, buffalo, Rhino and Elephant) around 20,000 animals. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle, and zebra that depend on the open grasslands in the crater. Attracting predators, the black-manned lion, the leopard, and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. The Fever Tree forests shelter monkeys, bushbuck and waterbuck, and the few black rhinos that have taken refuge here. Lunch will be served at the picnic site, later in the afternoon drive back to Arusha.
