9 DAYS SAFARI TARANGIRE, LAKE MANYARA,  NGORONGORO CRATER SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK & MT.MERU TREKKING

DAY 1 ARUSHA – TARANGIRE

Distance 136Kms: Duration 2hrs drive:

8.30am, pick up at your hotel for Tarangire National park;Tarangire is famous for its large concentration of African Elephants, other animals such as Lesser and greater Kudus, Lion, Impala, Leopard, and lots more are to be seen.  spend the whole day doing game drive. Lunch will be served at the picnic site. Stay overnight at camp

DAY 2. FULL GAME DRIVE TO TARANGIRE.

The whole day will be for the game drive, have the chance to see flora and fauna, lunch will be served at the picnic site. After lunch proceed with the game drive till evening and drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

After an early breakfast break camp and drive up the rift escarpment, cross the rich agricultural farmland of Karatu before entering the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Continue across the plains and enjoy another picnic lunch as you take in the vastness of these grassland plains dotted with granite kopjes.

Serengeti National Park is arguably the most famous game park on Earth. A vast tract of predator-rich land the Maasai Mara in Kenya, it is here that the great spectacle of the annual wildebeest migration, up to 1.5 million strong, unfolds reaching its frenzied peak in January/February. Dinner and overnight at Public campsite.

DAY 4. FULL GAME DRIVE

Morning games drive after breakfast. Enjoy the endless plains of Serengeti with game viewing. A magnificent experience awaits as you travel to the most famous wildlife park in Africa the legendary Serengeti. Here you might have the chance to see the migration, where thousands of zebra and wildebeest make trip from the Masai Mara every year. Packed lunch is served and proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 5. FULL GAME DRIVE.

Maximum game drive 200Kms

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, sit by a waterhole to watch the hippo and crocodile, or wait patiently for the pride of lion to make a kill. Have another picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp to shelter from the heat of the midday sun. Spend the cooler late afternoon watching your favorite animals before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6. STILL FULL DAY GAME DRIVE.

Another day spent in Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives. Stay overnight at the camp.

DAY 7. SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER.

Morning game drive in Serengeti, then back to the Camp for lunch. After lunch drive to Ngorongoro, game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 8. NGORONGORO CRATER.

Descend down to the crater one of the largest intact volcanic Caldera in the world, the crater floor offers game viewing to homely permanent population of more than 30,000 animals, and is one of the only places in Africa where you stand a very good chance of seeing the big five (lion, leopard, buffalo, Rhino and Elephant) around 20,000 animals. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depends on the open grasslands in the crater. Attracting predators, the black-manned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. The Fever Tree forests shelter monkeys, bushbuck and waterbuck and the few black rhino that have taken refuge here. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingoes and is a favorite place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden, packed lunch will be served at the picnic site. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 9. NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA.

After breakfast drive back to Arusha, arrive before nightfall.
